At The Joyful Tribe we are committed to coming alongside women and their families in the Greater Sacramento area during their pregnancy, labor, birth, and beyond. We believe that with the appropriate education, support, and mindset, the transition into parenthood can be one of the most magical and rewarding times of a woman's life. We strive to ensure that our clients have the tools they need to make informed decisions in order to navigate their way through this journey. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that our clients are informed, equipped, and cared for in the days and weeks before, during, and after their child's birth. Our mission is to foster an intimate and connected birth, nursing, and bonding experience. It is an honor and a joy to be trusted to share in this sacred season. 

Jennipher has been married to her best friend for nearly three decades. She is the mama to four amazing humans, and the grandma (PiPi) to the worlds most adorable two year old. When she isn't attending births or teaching classes, she is homeschooling her two youngest children. She feels blessed to be able to stay home with them the majority of the time while still having the privilege to follow her passion for helping women make a gentle transition into their roles as new mamas. ​​She's been a certified Birth Doula for over 20 years, and has supported over 500 women through their births. She is also an Assistant Midwife, Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Placenta Encapsulator.
